White light for a rainy day . . . .

Happy Rainy Sunday.

We needed a little rain around here to clear that hot sticky air, the rain has felt like a relief for me refreshing my clammy and lethargic mood.

If I were to use this space to be truly honest I'd have to admit that I'm in such anticipation for Autumn, my favourite season, it goes against all my beliefs of staying in tune with the seasons and residing within the present moment as it is, but I cant seem to help it, I'm longing for the cool crisp mornings that make me feel alive!

In a bid to enjoy these last days of summer, I'm finding a little inspiration in these beautiful images from Pinterest Of what summer means to me at its best- Being drenched in illuminating, white, purifying light . . . .

Wishing you a wonderful week ahead x

Forget-me-not part three . . . . .

The Final part of my little forget me not series, Styled with a selection of vintage spoons, an old book of sheet music and a favourite little pewter dish.

Aside for my love of grey and the purity of white, a colour I find very soothing is blue, soft tones of which are known to be Calming, relaxing and healing.

The colour blue relates to the Throat Chakra and I have found that embracing this colour has really helped me with a strengthening journey of
self expression, Speech, clear communication, and the somewhat daring act of always endeavouring to speak my truth with a purpose of being true to my authentic self.

Admire the blues in nature and Wear light blue to encourage peaceful and healthy self expression and to be open to receiving beneficial communications from others.

Have a calm and lovely day x

Misty Mornings

Not an overly 'wordy' post today, sometimes its nice to just be quiet, especially on Sundays.
Here are some photos from our recent trip to Cornwall taken in the early mornings before the sun broke through the clouds, grey, bleak and misty.

quiet. calm. soft. pure.

Enjoy the last moments of the weekend, and have a wonderful week ahead x
